Banking Event a Team Effort - March 23, 2022
On Wednesday, March 23, 2022, Benchmark Bank and the Brunswick County Department of Economic Development partnered to host a Home and Business Fair at the Brunswick County Conference Center. This event was multifaceted and was targeted toward two distinct groups of people; business owners looking for business loan information and individuals/families who wanted to know more about the home buying process. Representatives were on hand to share information with participants about home loans, business loans, the closing process, and the steps to buying a home. We were excited by interest and the attendance for this event.
Alfreda Jarrett Reynolds, the Brunswick County Director of Economic Development shared, “I was extremely excited to partner with Benchmark Community Bank on the Home and Business Fair. I truly believe that this will be the first in a series of similar events that we can share with our community while partnering with other local businesses. I want to thank Tammy Robinson-White and the team from Benchmark Community Bank for their hard work and for assisting our department in the development, marketing and production of this event. I also would like to thank Melinda from Slayton and Clary who came to assist people in learning more about the closing process of home loans. Truly, events like these are much more rewarding when community partners can come together to connect our resources for the good of our citizens.”
Tammy Robinson-White from Benchmark Bank shared, “I am thankful to Alfreda Reynolds and Beth Raney of the Brunswick County Department of Economic Development for partnering with us at Benchmark Community Bank to host this event. The goal was to provide outreach in the community around the importance of credit in the consumer and business loan process. The event was well attended by members of the community and the bank was very appreciative of the opportunity to provide education in this important area. We look forward to partnering with similar events in the months to come.”
